Sample company, state verification and renewal steps

Try DueLantern with sample data, record license checks, and track renewal tasks.

Try it with a sample company

On the dashboard (or Quick setup), click “Load sample company”. You get 5 employees, a vendor, company insurance, an overdue card and an upload waiting for review. Sample people never get emails. Click “Clear sample data” on the yellow bar when you’re ready to add your real team.

Verify a license with the state

  1. Open a requirement and find “Verify with the state”.
  2. Paste the state’s license lookup page (or use a quick pick) and click Save link.
  3. Click “Open state lookup”, check the license, then click “I verified it today”. DueLantern records who checked and when.

Renewal steps

Under “Renewal steps”, click “Add typical steps” or type your own, like “Pay $45 fee”. Check them off as you go. When the new document is approved, the checklist resets for next time.
